In-stock items typically ship within 3–10 business days, depending on whether changes such as ring sizing or pavé setting are requested.
Made-to-order pieces are generally mailed within 7–14 business days, though timing may vary depending on the design.

If there is any delay, you will be notified at the time of your order. We do our best to meet requested timelines whenever possible.

Shipping timeframes for custom orders are determined on a case-by-case basis and will be discussed in advance based on the scope of the project.

We offer free domestic and international insured shipping. Please go to our policies and procedures page for all information on shipping times and shipping.

We do resize rings and we offer a free re-size after you receive your ring as well. For your convenience, we will include a finger sizer in the package with your ring. Send the ring back to us with the ring sizer at the size you need and we will cover the re-size and the shipping back to you. Contact us to arrange this and for shipping instructions.

Your item will arrive with a CHINCHAR•MALONEY certificate containing all of the information about your piece. If you would like additional certification we can arrange to have your item appraised by a GIA certified, 3rd party appraiser for $100. Pieces costing $6000.00 or more come with a free appraisal.

Yes, we recommend that you insure your ring for replacement value. Although rare, accidents can happen and if your gem or diamond becomes damaged we can work with your insurance company to find a replacement of equal value. Many insurance companies don’t require an appraisal to insure diamond jewelry. Typically, they can insure based on the purchase price with an itemized invoice. However, we do offer appraisals on our rings by a GIA certified gemologist that specializes in rustic diamonds. Please contact us for a detailed invoice or to arrange an appraisal.

Each natural diamond is a one of a kind and there can be surface inclusions and rough areas. This is unique to each diamond and gives it real character and part of what makes it a true one of a kind. Read more about our diamonds here.

Care instructions for your jewelry can be found here. We also include care instructions in your package with your jewelry.

It's a good idea to have your jewelry examined at least once a year by CHINCHAR•MALONEY. We do this for a small fee of $150 where every setting and mounting is checked and tightened. In addition to performing any necessary repair work, we will expertly clean and polish your jewelry at no additional cost. Contact us if you are interested in this service.
